IRCStorm Chat Network Chanserv Help Page

CHANSERV COMMANDS

[NickServ] [ChanServ] [BotServ] [MemoServ] [Back]

Please Note: If you experience problems accessing the information you are looking for join the Network and ask in #help.

ChanServ is a free service that allows clients to register and maintain channels on the IRCStorm network. A registered channel allows someone the freedom to run the channel as they wish.

The IRCStorm Network DOES NOT condone illegal activities and reserves the right to close a channel, if this is found to be the case.

ChanServ will hold a channel registration for as long as an identified channel op visits the channel. After 30 days of no channel visitation by a channel op, or if the founder's nickname expires and no channel successor is listed, a channel will drop from the ChanServ database.

Please Note:

  • While we will not police channels and topics, we do ask that channel ops
show discretion, in their choice of topics for channels not set (secret)+s,
as we have young people that chat here as well.

Please Note: You must be Identified with NickServ to use these commands.
