NICKSERV COMMANDS

[NickServ] [ChanServ] [BotServ] [MemoServ] [Back]

NickServ is the service that allows registration and maintenance of nicknames. By registering your nick, you reserve sole ownership of that nick and prevent someone else from registering it. Also only Registered nicks can register channels and send/receive memos. NickServ will hold a nickname registration for as long as you identify to the nickname. After 30 days of no nickname Identification, a nickname will drop from the NickServ database. If you are going to be away longer than 30 days please see an IRCtech for assistance.
